Machir Bay - Kilchoman
Machir Bay 2013 is a vatting of four and five year old ex-bourbon casks, with the four year casks being finished in Oloroso sherry butts for four weeks prior to bottling.
The Machir Bay range is Kilchoman’s core expression, first launched in 2012 when it won the prestigious IWSC 2012 Gold Medal – Best in Class. Launched in April, the Machir Bay 2013 has already been recognised as an award-winning Single Malt, receiving Whisky of the Year in the International Whisky Competition.
Bottled once a year, each release contains more mature whisky each year allowing Kilchoman fans to follow the development of the unique Kilchoman malt as it matures.

Loch Gorm - Kilchoman
Launched in April 2013, the Loch Gorm range is the only fully ex-sherry cask-matured release from Kilchoman. Aged in Oloroso sherry butts and finished in Oloroso sherry hogshead casks for six weeks, Loch Gorm adds a new dimension to Kilchoman’s portfolio, bringing depth of colour and fresh character to the Islay Single Malt range.
With a wonderful balance between the peat smoke and spicy rich flavours typical of sherry cask maturation, Loch Gorm offers a soft peaty nose, blended with soft fruits and spice. An initial sweet palette develops with a deeper hint of peat and fruit notes before a long clean finish offering a depth character and richness that belies its tender age.

100% Islay- Kilchoman
The Second Edition 100% Islay, launched in September 2012. The whisky is a 50:50 vatting of three and four year old whisky matured in ex-Bourbon casks.
The award-winning whisky is entirely produced on Islay – from barley to bottle. The barley is grown, malted, distilled, matured and bottled at Kilchoman. Most recently 100% Islay received a Silver Medal in the Whisky of the Year 2013 category in the prestigious Wold Whisky Competition.
With a nose of fresh cut barley, pepper, malt and peat all perfectly balanced, the sweet palate of barley sugar and peat, the long finish of 100% Islay is reminiscent of smoking hay and white ground pepper.
