Single Malt Scottish Whisky Listing from Brora Distillery
On this page of Single Malt Whisky are the whiskies from Brora Whisky Distillery. The Brora Distillery is very famous and one with excellent malt whiskies. In the 1970's the distillery was called formerly known as Clynelish and was a very successful. Like every distillery in Scotland, it was hit was a hard time in the late 70's and early 80's when times were hard and never really gain any more success and closed its doors sadly in 1983.
The distillery was opened again in 2021, but will be a few years before malts become available, but we should expect a couple of malts in the next few years and we will keep Planet Whiskies readers updated with this in our latest news section.
At present the Brora Distillery has malts available, but are mostly very rare.

Tomintoul Distillery Tour
Planet Whiskies had a fantastic trip up to the Speyside Whisky region of Scotland in February 2024 to visit Angus Dundee Distillers Tomintoul Distillery within the Cairngorms National Park. Then, after the distillery tour and tasting, which was hosted by Iain Forteath, the master blender of Tomintoul, our press group travelled and stayed the night at the recently bought country home of Tomintoul House in the Aultmore Estate (previously called Aultmore House).
