Single Malt Scottish Whisky Listing from Bunnahabhain Distillery

On this page of Single Malt Whisky are the whiskies from Bunnahabhain Whisky Distillery, which lies on the north-eastern coast of Islay. This distillery was built in 1881 and has been producing top quality malts for over 125 years. The name of the distillery comes from the Gaelic ward Bunnahabhain (Bu-na-ha-venn) which means 'mouth of the river'.

The river they are talking about is the one on Islay called Margadale, and this water is also used in the production on its whiskies.

On Planet Whiskies' visit to Islay, we never had a chance to visit the distillery within a tour, but we have heard a lot of present reviews about the distillery and on our next trip to Islay, this distillery is a must visit for us.
