Single Malt Scottish Whisky from the Inchgower Distillery
This page refers to Scottish Single Malts from the Inchgower Distillery. Inchgower Distillery is in the Speyside region of Scotland and was founded in 1871 in Buckie. In 1936, the distillery was bought by the Bells family and sold again 51 years later to the Guinness family. The ownership only lasted a year before going to the well-known United Distillers, who now are the very famous Diageo group. The whisky from this distillery is still used in the Bells and Johnnie Walker blends, and like so many distilleries in the Speyside region, very little is bottled as malt whisky. There are a few malts, but this can be very hard to get your hands on, so if you see one of the rare editions, buy it before it goes.
