Single Malt Scottish Whisky with the Finlaggan Name
This page refers to Scottish Single Malts with the Finlaggan name. Finlaggan is situated on Loch Finlaggan on the Island of Islay. The single malts that are produced by The Vintage Whisky Company are named after the castle. They also keep what they add to their malts a secret that only a few people know about. Not many people do know where these malts were distilled, but on the Island of Islay there are eight distilleries, and they all produced excellent malts of different flavours.

Tomintoul Distillery Tour
Planet Whiskies had a fantastic trip up to the Speyside Whisky region of Scotland in February 2024 to visit Angus Dundee Distillers Tomintoul Distillery within the Cairngorms National Park. Then, after the distillery tour and tasting, which was hosted by Iain Forteath, the master blender of Tomintoul, our press group travelled and stayed the night at the recently bought country home of Tomintoul House in the Aultmore Estate (previously called Aultmore House).
