Braeval Scotch Whisky DistilleryInformation
The Braeval Distillery is in the Speyside region of Scotland and was a silent distillery for six years betweeen 2002 and 2008. This distillery used to be called Braes of Glenlivet until the name changed in 2008. The reason for this name change was so there was no confusion with its sister distillery Glenlivet. Braeval is one of the Chivas Brothers portfolio and was a main reason why the distillery was built so the malts used could contribute to the Chivas Regal blend. Braeval also did some indepentant bottling for Signatory and Cadenhead's. This distillery is also the highest distillery in Scotland
