Scotch in a Can – the First Ever to Receive TTB Label Approval for Hard Liquor in a Can is Gaining Ground in the US Market!

Scottish Spirits are based in Glasgow Scotland and in Ft Lauderdale USA with their whisky distilled and matured at their premises in Glasgow before being canned in Holland. The canned whisky will be launched in Scotland in the coming weeks and could be a massive hit with everyone. This drink is the first ever whisky drink which is stored in a can and comes with a re-sealable latex lid. This whisky drink was also award 82.5 points on 100 by Jim Murray.

Everyone one within the company is excited by the prospects of this whisky product and their spokesman Monique Force said: “The can is just right for sharing between three people who can mix it with other things, such as cola. He carried on saying “It is aimed at anyone engaged in outdoor activities – sporting events, parties, hiking, camping, boating and poolside – where glass bottles are either prohibited or where the convenience of a can will come into play.”

Scottish Spirits Imports, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has secured distribution in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, California and Hawaii  for their unique and innovative Scottish Spirits in a Can. 

Earlier this year, the company announced the addition of a re-sealable latex lid for the can. The lid, (patent pending) produced especially for Scottish Spirits - allowing the can to be resealed and the product to be kept fresh - has caught the interest of distributors across the country.  Consumers now have the ability to pour out one drink and store the remaining product easily.

Scottish Spirits has garnered a tremendous amount of media and consumer interest with its launch of Scottish Spirits in a Can.  The key word here is convenience, the portability of the product for outdoor uses such as sporting events, tailgating parties, boating, and pool side.

But convenience isn’t the only factor, Scottish Spirits Single Grain Scotch Whisky’s flavor profile is complemented by a rich honey/vanilla, apples and pears taste with a hint of peat and smoke.  Scottish Spirits is distilled and matured in Scotland for a minimum of three years in oak casks.

The product containing 40% alcohol by volume and 80% proof, is packaged in a 100% recyclable aluminum cans with a special liner to keep the product’s taste integrity intact, isn’t meant to be a one serving beverage.  Each recyclable can has eight ‘shots’ (355ml) and can be shared by several people anywhere, without having to carry a heavy bottle or worry about glass breakage.  The re-sealable latex cap allows someone to enjoy a drink now and save the rest for later!

Scottish Spirits in a Can may be enjoyed on the rocks, straight-up or with a mixer. The suggested retail price is $5.00 for a can (12 fl. oz. / 355 ml).  Prices may vary by location.
