The Macallan, single malt whisky brand thank their 100,000 Facebook fans - 10th August, 2012
To celebrate breaking through the 100,000 Facebook fans mark, The Macallan team at the distillery filmed a very special ‘thank you’ for all of their Facebook fans around the world. Shot on The Macallan’s Easter Elchies Estate, the distillery team name-check random fans for ‘being their friend on Facebook’. It's a must watch video if you are 'friends' with The Macallan to see if you have been mentioned. It is also great PR for the distillery and giving something back to their 'fans'.
Tomintoul Distillery Tour
Planet Whiskies had a fantastic trip up to the Speyside Whisky region of Scotland in February 2024 to visit Angus Dundee Distillers Tomintoul Distillery within the Cairngorms National Park. Then, after the distillery tour and tasting, which was hosted by Iain Forteath, the master blender of Tomintoul, our press group travelled and stayed the night at the recently bought country home of Tomintoul House in the Aultmore Estate (previously called Aultmore House).
