Single Malt Scottish Whisky from the Imperial Distillery
This page refers to Scottish Single Malts from the Imperial Distillery. Imperial Distillery was founding in the town of Carron by Thomas Mackenzie in 1897 and was named after Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. The distillery itself has had a hard time over the year, closing on several occasions for long periods. Like a lot of distilleries it primary reason for producing whisky was for blends and the Imperial brands where used in the likes of Teacher's, Old Smuggler, Long John and Ballantine's blends. Single Speyside Malt Whisky from the Imperial Distillery. This malt was bottled by Signatory in April 2008 and is part of the Cask Strength Series. There was 501 bottles produced from this cask which was a Sherry Butt cask. So as you would expect the strength of this whisky is a great 55.7%
