Single Malt Scottish Whisky Listing for Brora Distillery
On this page of Single Malt Whisky are the whiskies from Brora Whisky Distillery. The Brora Distillery is very famous and one with excellent malt whiskies. In the 1970's the distillery was called originally known as Clynelish and was a very success. Like every distillery in Scotland it was hit was a hard time in the late 70's and early 80's when times were hard and never reallyy gain any more success and closed its doors sadly in 1983. It could be reopened if the owners really wanted to, but this is unlikely as it has been closed for over 25 years and with the times we are now in this would be an expense that the owners would unlikely do. You will see below a full range of malts aged 30 years running from 2003 to 2007. All these malts are excellent, but do have a high price tag with one of the reasons that the distillery is unlikely to have a 30 year again. Well enjoying reading about all the malts for Brora Distillery and us malt fans can keep out fingers crossed that one day Brora does make a recover to produce more fine malts in the future.

 Brora 1981 - 24 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky ~ 46% ~ 70cl
Region: Highlands ~ Type: Scottish Single Malt Whisky
Single Highland Malt Whisky. This was bottled by Ian Macleod in December 2006 and is part of the Chieftain\\\\\\\'s Series. The cask type used in distilling was Cream Sherry Butt and 750 bottles were produced.

Single Highland Malt Whisky. This is an excellent Highland Malt and with 3000 bottled produced is one that should be around for a while. Its is very fruity. The bottling date for this malt was 2003.

Single Highland Malt Whisky. This bottle of the same age as the malt above, but bottled a year later in 2004. It again had 3000 bottles distilled.
