Welcome to Ballantine's Blended Scotch Whiskies. Ballantine is a very famous brand from the west coast of Scotland and you can see their distillery in the Dumbarton area of Scotland. At present they also sponser the local football team Dumbarton Football Club. You can read more about this on the latest news pages on this site. Ballantine's Finest is produced using more than 50 single malts. There are a couple that have a high presence within the whisky and they are Miltonduff and Glenburgie. You will also find that there are 4 single grain whiskies. People would say this blend is a very smooth, but also a mordern day blend with all the flavours you would expect for a high quality blend from the Chivas Brothers. The bottle size is 70cl and its strength is 40%
A note regarding the distillery in Dumbarton, West of Glasgow, is not in production any more and have been completed demolished. The distillery warehouse are still situated in Dumbarton though and you can see them when driving on the main A82 road just before Dumbarton.
