Antiquary 21 Year Old Scottish Blended Whiskies is a blend which contains both Speyside and Highland Malts. There is also a hint of Islay Malts and you can also taste Lowland Grains. With all these different areas of malts used in producing Antiquary 21 Year Old you can imagine the high quality taste when you consume this excellent blend. All the whiskies used in this blend are at least 21 years old, and together they deliver a taste of brilliance. This blend is distilled at the Tomatin Distillery in Inverness-shire. The bottle below has a size of 70cl and its strength is 43%.
A note regarding the distillery in Dumbarton, West of Glasgow, is not in production any more and have been completed demolished. The distillery warehouse are still situated in Dumbarton though and you can see them when driving on the main A82 road just before Dumbarton.
The Nose - A light maltiness with a muted peaty notes, allowing the heather, dandelion and blackcurrant to flourish.
The Taste - This is a smooth, full-bodied dram with a lingering taste that recalls summer days that never seemed to end. It’s a case of once tasted, never forgotten, never surpassed.
