Straight from the still
Hey all, quick update for you from the Templeton Rye intern!
Over the past month and a half I have gotten to know the Templeton Rye brand and even more importantly, the Templeton Rye team. I've had a great experience so far and I've been learning a lot. Since starting in May, I have had the opportunity to work on several important projects and events and have been getting to know a lot of Templeton Rye fans!
A main focus for me this summer has been our presence at the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market where we are selling our BBQ sauce, barrel smoking pieces and tee shirts. The best part has been getting to know many Templeton Rye supporters and hearing your TR stories. We've had people young and old describe their first time trying "The Good Stuff," their family connections to Templeton Rye, and even tales of coming from out-of-state to bootleg a
bottle back home. It's great to know our product is being well received by so many of you and we appreciate all your feedback!
Another event that we are really looking forward to is Rock & Rye, our second annual music festival, coming up August 8th. I have luckily been able to be a part of the planning and preparation of this fantastic day, one full of great music, great BBQ, and of course, distillery tours. I see it as a fun way to say thanks to all of you who support our product and a way for us to support the local community. Be sure to get your tickets!
I look forward to meeting more of you as the summer continues and thank you all for your support of Templeton Rye.
Cheers, Claire Bisanz, Summer Intern, Templeton Rye

We've been having a great time meeting new folks and seeing old friends at the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market so far this summer. We'll be back at the market again on July 11, July 25, August 15 and September 12, selling wood barrel smoking chips and TR merchandise. We hope to see you there! Video series: Happy hour at The Plaza
We recently filmed a four-part video series with residents of The Plaza (an assisted living facility in Manning, Iowa) reminiscing about "The Good Stuff" during their weekly happy hour.

Above is one of the four videos. To view them all, please head on over to our YouTube channel.

The Run to Cure Cancer
The Templeton Rye team was honored to be involved with our friend Steve Cannon as he courageously runs all the way across Iowa in The Run to Cure Cancer. We are always on the lookout for folks in Iowa doing special things and we were happy to allow Steve to use our bus as his support vehicle. We are pleased to report that Steve is on schedule to complete his run and has raised valuable funds to support
research. Congratulations to you, Steve, and thanks for making a difference! You can track Steve and help support his efforts at http://theruntocurecancer.com.

The Des Moines Register's article on TR availability
We know that some of you are frustrated about availability right now and we can't thank you enough for your patience. The Des Moines Register ran an article on June 28 that addresses some of these issues. If you ever have any questions, we're here to listen and answer. Just reach out to us via email, find us at the farmers market, or say hello on Facebook or Twitter.

Mods vs. Rockers
Templeton Rye was a proud sponsor for the 2nd year in a row of the Mods vs. Rockers vintage motorcycle and scooter rally in Chicago on June 20th. The rally is based at Delilah's, the world famous whiskey bar. Click below for some video highlights.
