Auchroisk Scotch Whisky Distillery
Auchroisk Scotch Whisky Distillery was built in 1974 and produces the single malt The Singleton of Auchroisk. The distillery was built to produce J & B blended whisky, but after a few years the distillery decided to that the single malt the distillery was producing was also excellent and this was seen as a bonus for all they wanted at the start was to make the blended whisky. This is how the Singleton brand name was introduced to the market place. The taste of the single malt is one of fruit, malt, smoke and herb flavours and is medium in weight.
